Rock Springs Parade – July 27 & 28, 2012

Driving Directions to Rock Springs High School

I-80 from the East:

• Take the Pilot Butte Exit, Exit 107
• Turn left at the first set of traffic lights you come to – South Side Belt Route/State 376
• Turn right onto James Drive – it’s the first right you can take
• Arrive at Rock Springs High School on the right

I-80 from the West:

• Take the Pilot Butte Exit, Exit 107
• Turn left at the first set of traffic lights you come to – South Side Belt Route/State 376
• Turn right at James Drive – it’s the first right you can take
• Arrive at Rock Springs High School on the right

Highway 191 from the North

• Follow 191 into Rock Springs
• Turn left on Bridger Ave. (Bridger Ave. turns into Pilot Butte Ave.)
• Turn right onto South Side Belt Route/State 376
• Turn right onto James Drive – it’s the first right you can take
• Arrive at Rock Springs High School

Please arrive early enough so that rehearsals may begin at 1:00 pm, Friday July 27th. Eat a good lunch before you arrive. Pizza and refreshing Pepsi products will be served for supper Friday. McDonald’s will be providing breakfast for us on Saturday morning before the Parade.

Once again, make sure that your pants are white, shoes are clean / polished and that you have all the uniform parts when packing.

The parade begins at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 28th. We will be the last entry of the parade. We will also do a short stand up performance at the end of the parade route. The parade route winds its way through the old downtown of Rock Springs.

After the stand up we will bus back to the high school. Our post-parade meeting will take longer than previous ones. After all, this will be the last time we are together until we all meet in Cheyenne this November. Parents are invited to join us for this meeting as we will be discussing the New York trip.  Estimated time of dismissal is 2:00 pm.

This meeting is very important. Materials for the trip will be passed out and reviewed. Questions will be addressed and there may be a couple of surprises too! Please make sure that you are in Rock Springs!

Clean up after the meeting this week will be done by those members close to Rock Springs. Members from Star Valley, Green River, Lyman, Kemmerer, Evanston and Rock Springs need to plan to stay a little longer after dismissal.
Just a reminder that your last payment is due September 1st. It is very important that this payment is on time. If you have difficulty meeting this payment, please communicate with us.
